Tea
Japanese green infusion tea is prepared by infusing or ‘brewing’ the whole processed tea leaves in hot water. As a result, with this method it is only the water-soluble components of the leaves that are ingested. This is in contrast to Matcha, where the green tea powder is mixed fully with the hot water, so that the entirety of the leaves (with all their components) are consumed.
These infusion teas have a variety of different flavours and can be drunk on a variety of different occasions. In short, something for everyone!
