Spiced apple quinoa breakfast bowls

Quinoa | 90 g |
Apple, cored, peeled and chopped | 1 |
Water, filtered | 1 kopje (240 ml) |
Amandelmelk | ½ kopje + ½ kopje |
Sea salt | A pinch |
Cinnamon | 1 teaspoon |
Biotona Curcuma | ½ teaspoon |
Biotona Ginger | ½ teaspoon |
Maple syrup or raw honey | 2-3 teaspoons |
Toppings: | |
Chopped apple | 1 |
Raisins | 2 handfuls |
Crushed walnuts | A handful |
Cinnamon | A pinch |

- Add quinoa, chopped apple, water, ½ cup of almond milk and salt to a saucepan. Bring to a simmer, cover with a lid and let cook for about 20 minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat, add the remaining half cup of almond milk, cinnamon, Biotona Curcuma, Biotona Ginger, and maple syrup or honey. Mix well.
- Divide between two bowls, top with chopped apple, raisins, walnuts and cinnamon. Serve warm.
