Coco loco
Sport drinks are very popular in the fitness and sporting worlds, both for recreational and competitive practitioners. In addition, they are also often used as thirst-quenchers in warm weather. Coconut water is becoming more widely known and is a good alternative for composite sport drinks. This clear liquid with a mildly nutty flavour (not to be confused with coconut milk!) has a proven thirst-relieving effect. It is rich in organic salts and minerals, which the body loses during sport through sweating and general dehydration. Coco Loco is a summer shake that is ideal as an invigorating drink during or after your sporting activity.

Water, filtered | 300 ml |
Ice | ½ cup |
Biotona Coconut water | 2 teaspoons |
Lime, half juiced, half sliced | 1 |
Fresh mint leaves | Handful |

Blender or shaker |
- Add water, ice and Coconut water powder to a blender and blitz to combine. Alternatively, use a shaker.
- Pour into glasses (or one bigger glass), add squeezed lime juice, lime slices and mint leaves. Give it a stir and serve.
