Sea buckthorn mini pancakes
Mini-sized pancakes for maximum enjoyment! The extra Biotona Seabuckthorn juice adds both flavour and nutritional value. Almond milk | 120 ml |
Biotona Seabuckthorn juice | 1 tablespoon |
Maple syrup | 1 tablespoon |
Wholemeal spelt flour (sub oat flour) | 75 g |
Baking powder | 1,5 g |
Baking soda | 1,5 g |
Sea buckthorn sauce | |
Biotona Seabuckthorn juice | 1 tablespoon |
Maple syrup | 1 tablespoon |

Mixing bowl, non-stick pan, squeeze bottle (optional) |
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond milk, Biotona Seabuckthorn juice and maple syrup.
- Add flour, baking powder and baking soda and mix until well combined, with no lumps in the batter. The batter should be pretty runny and easily pourable.
- Preheat the non-stick pan, you want it to be hot before you start cooking the pancakes.
- Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle, alternatively - use a teaspoon to pour small amounts of batter to a hot pan.
- Cook over medium heat until golden brown on both sides, flip when bubbles appear. Repeat until you run out of batter.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing Biotona Seabuckthorn juice with maple syrup.
- Serve mini pancakes with fresh fruit and sea buckthorn sauce.
