Matcha Hummus
Matcha hummus is a unique twist on a classic dip. It combines the creamy texture and plant-based protein of chickpeas with the antioxidant-rich benefits of our ceremonial-grade matcha. This fusion not only creates a visually striking green hue but also offers a subtle, earthy flavour that complements the nuttiness of tahini and the brightness of lemon juice.
Matcha is well known for its concentration of catechins – powerful antioxidants that help protect the body from oxidative stress. It also contains L-theanine, which supports calm focus and sustained energy.

- Add all ingredients (besides toppings) to a food processor and blend into a smooth paste. If necessary, add some chickpea brine (or water) to thin up the consistency and scrape the sides of the food processor whenever needed.
- Transfer to a bowl, top with fresh herbs and seeds and serve. Enjoy as a dip with veggies and crackers or as a sandwich spread.
