Healthy energy balls with oatmeal and ashwagandha

Feeling tired? A sudden dip? Treat yourself to a healthy snack with oatmeal and ashwagandha energy balls. They are the perfect way to recharge your batteries and restore your balance. Biotona bio Ashwagandha, also known as Indian ginseng, offers you all the benefits of a plant that has been valued for centuries in the Ayurveda. Its adaptogenic properties ensure that you remain better in balance during busy days, while also helping you to feel stronger, both mentally and physically. The addition of Biotona bio Coconut milk gives the balls a soft and creamy texture. This 100% organic powder of coconut cream, coconut paste and coconut flour is easily soluble, rich in healthy fats and gives a smooth and silky twist to the whole. You can combine this energising snack with a warm cup of Biotona Matcha (green tea). Together, they form a short-break pick-me-up that will refresh you in body and mind.

Ingredients (15 balls)
Medjool dates, deseeded 12
Almonds 100 g
Oatmeal, whole grain 75 g
Cinnamon ½ teaspoon
Biotona bio Ashwagandha 2 teaspoons
Coconut milk 2 to 3 tablespoons
Biotona bio Coconut milk 50 g
Necessities
Blender
  • Put the deseeded dates, almonds and oatmeal into the blender and mix until they have a fine and crumbly consistency.
  • Add the cinnamon and the Biotona bio Ashwagandha powder and mix further until everything is properly blended together.
  • Allow the blender to continue turning while you gradually add the coconut milk, a spoonful at a time. Stop as soon as the mixture starts to come together and becomes sticky enough to form it into small balls.
  • Use your hands to roll the dough into 15 balls. Roll these balls one by one in the coconut milk powder and place them for at least one hour in the fridge to stiffen.
  • Store any balls not immediately used in an airtight container in the fridge. In this way, they will keep for up to five days.
  • Tip: You don’t have any Biotona Ashwagandha bio powder? You can also use Biotona Raw Maca bio or some other superfood powder of your choice.
