Turmeric flat belly iced tea

In recent years, curcuma has become a real hype. This is no surprise: this Indian spice is not only super-tasty, but is also good for your health. It has anti-inflammatory properties, a positive influence on your liver, heart and skin, and improves your natural resistance. As well as using it in exotic oriental dishes, you can also use Biotona Bio Curcuma Raw in numerous daily drinks and/or snacks. This turmeric ‘flat belly’ iced tea is a true ready-for-summer drink with a surprising herbal flavour.

Ingredients
Physalis Flat Belly Infusion 1 tea bag
Biotona Curcuma 1 teaspoon
Fresh ginger 1 cm piece, sliced
Water 2 cups
Lemon juice ½ lemon
Maple syrup or honey 2 teaspoons or to taste
To serve:
Ice cubes To taste
Sliced lemon To taste
Sliced fresh ginger To taste
Necessities
Small cooking pan
  • Add water to a cooking pan and start warming it up to a point when it’s hot and steaming, but not boiling.
  • Remove from the heat, add one tea bag of Physalis Flat Belly Infusion, turmeric powder and sliced ginger. Stir and left for 5 minutes to infuse.
  • Remove the tea bag, add maple syrup or honey and a squeeze of lemon juice, stir and leave to cool completely.
  • Serve with ice cubes, sliced lemon and (optionally) sliced fresh ginger. Store in the fridge.
