Matcha & spirulina iced latte
The new must-have: the ‘superfood latte’. On warm days, this is a deliciously refreshing drink, but our latte with matcha (green tea) is also an ideal substitute for coffee. Matcha is rich in tea-caffeine (theine), which gives you an energy boost to start the day with a bounce. Tea also contains L-theanine, which is one of the most efficient relaxants in nature. L-theanine and caffeine have a synergistic effect on the improvement of mental alertness. Caffeine also enhances fat burning and the release of energy.
Biotona offers three qualities of matcha. The difference in flavour depends on how long the tea plants are overshadowed, the size of the leaves, the expertise and experience of the farmers and the location (climate, soil, altitude, etc.). You can choose whichever matcha best ‘matches’ your personal preference.

Ice cubes | 1 cup |
Biotona Matcha | 2 tablespoons |
Biotona Spirulina | 1 teaspoon |
Maple syrup | 1 teaspoon |

- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until you have foamy green milk.
- Pour in the glasses and serve immediately.
