Maca hot chocolate

Chocolate milk with raw, pure cacao and maca not only gives you an energy boost but also helps to improve your mood! A teaspoon of Biotona bio Maca Raw is equivalent to 30 grams of fresh maca root. This product is a carefully selected and clever blend of two high-quality extracts mixed with maca root powder, which together provide a wide range of beneficial properties. Maca is also known as Peruvian ginseng and is an adaptogen, which means that it promotes both mental balance and added vitality. This combination with the feel-good effect of raw cacao makes it an ideal pick-me-up for any time of day!

Ingredients (Makes 2 servings)
Almond milk 480 ml
Maple syrup or honey 2 tablespoons
Biotona bio Cacao powder Raw 4-6 teaspoons
Biotona bio Maca Raw 2 teaspoons
Cinnamon ½ teaspoon
For topping
Whipped coconut cream 2 tablespoons
Cinnamon To taste
Necessities
Saucepan, blender or electric whisk
  • In the saucepan, heat almond milk until hot, but not boiling.
  • Add all remaining ingredients, besides toppings, and either transfer to a blender and blend until frothy, or whisk in the saucepan with an electric whisk.
  • Transfer into mugs, top with coconut cream and cinnamon, serve and enjoy!
