Camu camu acerola dressing
Autumn is already knocking at the door. Can you hear it? Once again it is the time of year when we are troubled by runny noses, ticklish coughs and a continual feeling of tiredness. This camu camu acerola dressing, which is bursting with vitamin C, boosts your entire family’s natural resistance in a fun, easy and natural way. What could be better than that!? Biotona Bio Camu camu & Acerola Raw is a mixture of 100% organic acerola and camu camu poeder.
Camu camu is a yellow to purple-red fruit that grows on trees in the Amazon region of South America. The camu camu in this powder comes from Peru. Studies show that camu camu contains about 2% vitamin C, depending on the maturity of the fruit. By comparison: a lemon, also known for its high vitamin C value, only contains 0.5%. Acerola is also known as the West Indian cherry and it grows in the Antilles and in Central and South America. Like camu camu, it is also an important source of vitamin C, containing between 30 and 100 times more of the vitamin than in an orange!
