Pink moon milk

This herbal pink moon milk has a pleasing romantic colour, thanks to the use of Biotona Red Beet. Are you not mad keen on the earthy taste of red beetroot? No problem! Biotona Red Beet Juice Powder is deliciously sweet, so that you don't need to add any other form of sweetener to this healthy latte!

Ingredients (1 serving)
Almond or oat milk  200-300 ml
Biotona Red beet powder  1 teaspoon
Biotona Maca powder  1 teaspoon
(optional) Cinnamon  A pinch
(optional) Cardamom  A pinch
(optional) Biotona MCT oil  1-2 teaspoons
(optional) Maple syrup or raw honey  1 teaspoon
For topping:
Dried pink cornflower petals 1 teaspoon
Biotona Red beet powder A dash
Necessities
Small saucepan, blender or electric milk frother
  • Heat plant milk in a saucepan, until very warm and steamy, but without boiling it.
  • Add red beet powder, maca powder and, if using, cinnamon, cardamom and MCT oil. Either transfer to a standing blender and blend until frothy or use an electric milk frother to mix it in the saucepan.
  • Add sweetener to your liking (some plant milks are naturally mild in taste and beetroot powder is also lightly sweet so you may not need any sweetener).
  • Transfer to a mug, optionally top with pink cornflower petals and/or a dash or beet powder and enjoy!
