Raw bites of Superfoods – Energy balls
This is a great snack for whenever you are feeling peckish or are experiencing an energy dip. The high level of fibres in the snack instantly gives you a full feeling. The added Biotona Cacao Nibs are a source of magnesium and are packed full with anti-oxidants that help to protect your cells and keep your body young. Biotona Superfruits strengthen your natural resistance and give you a boost of energy. We don’t call them Energy Balls without good reason!

Biotona Cacao Nibs | 2 tablespoons |
Biotona Maqui Powder | 1 tablespoon |
Walnuts | 2 tablespoons |
Almonds | 2 tablespoons |
Biotona Hemp seed | 1 tablespoon |
Sesame seed | 1 tablespoon |
Biotona Superfruits | 1 tablespoon |
Banaan | ½ |
Tahini (or almond or cashew paste) | 1 tablespoon |
Biotona Coconut Milk Powder |

- Blend the Biotona Cacao Nibs, the Biotona Maqui Powder, the walnuts, the almonds, the Biotona Hemp Seed, the sesame seed and the Biotona Superfruits in the food processor until you have a fine powder.
- Add in pieces of sliced banana and the tahini. Mix well. If the resulting mixture is too firm, add more banana. If the resulting mixture is too runny, add more sesame seed.
- Roll the mixture into balls with a diameter of 2 to 3 centimetres, then roll the balls through the Biotona Coconut Milk Powder until they are nicely coated.
- Allow the balls to firm up in the fridge under a covering of plastic foil.
