Kombu, a primeval brown seaweed with a delicious ‘umami’ taste, is packed with nature’s phytonutrients. Biotona Bio Kombu Raw is made from organically cultivated Kombu, which grows on rocks in the cold, pure water of the Atlantic Ocean and is carefully picked by hand. After harvesting, the seaweed is immediately dried at low temperature (less than 40°C), so that its full nutritional value is preserved.

Soak Biotona Bio Kombu Raw in ordinary water for 20 minutes and rinse thoroughly twice. Change the water and soak for another 20 minutes. The soaking will increase the dry weight of the Kombu by 7 times. It can be included in a (pasta)salad, soup, a herb salt, pesto, a green smoothie, etc. It is also a perfect accompaniment for all your fish dishes or can be added quickly and easily to recipes of all kinds for an extra healthy touch.
